Who We Are

Lexington Young Professionals Organization (LYPA Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit.

We help young professionals in Lexington establish community and develop professional relationships.

Age is just a number. Everyone is welcome.

Founded in 2012 and led by passionate local volunteers, LYPA is a revitalized young professionals community—growing stronger post-pandemic by uniting former Young Professionals of Lexington members and welcoming new faces as we build our membership from the ground up.

We host one networking event per month, and one professional development event every other month, located at varying local businesses around Lexington.

  • Anyone can join! We focus on supporting professionals starting their career or changing careers, and we also need mentors in the community who have experience to share with members who are newer in their career journeys.

  • Yes, many of our events are open to non-members for a nominal fee. However, members receive discounted or free access to most events.

  • We love member involvement! Email us or attend a monthly meeting to learn more about how you can help. We are looking for Student Ambassadors who can represent us on social media at schools around Lexington, and Ambassadors who can help us welcome people at LYPA events.
